Mayra Valle’s passion for expanding college access stems from her personal journey. As the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation college graduate, she understands firsthand the challenges underrepresented students face in navigating higher education. With the support of full scholarships, including the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship, Mayra earned her Bachelor's degree from Connecticut College and her Master's degree from Texas A&M University.

Driven by a mission to affirm student identities and create accessible pathways to higher education, Mayra has dedicated over a decade to empowering students and educators alike. Her journey from student advocate to leader in the education consulting space has equipped her with a deep understanding of how to drive meaningful impact for underrepresented communities.

Today, as the founder of Mayra V Strategy, she partners with schools, districts, and organizations to deliver customized workshops, curriculum development, and education consulting services. Her work ensures that both students and educators are equipped to excel, creating lasting change in educational equity.

Mayra is also a member of the Momentum Board of Advisors, a board member of the New Leaders Council, and serves as the college access specialist for the Escuelita at Magnolia Park Arts and Community.
